"People Helping People"

In 1945 a group of Wilmington, MA citizens began a volunteer, non-profit organization to help local families in need.

Since then, through the generosity of our community, Wilmington Community Fund, Inc. (WCF) has supported countless neighbors facing hardship.

Our motto, "People Helping People" truly captures with WCF is all about. For more than 80 years, we've proudly carried this mission forward, supporting our community and neighbors in need.

Today, we need your help. Your donation to WCF sustains our legacy of assisting our community. Please consider giving -- 100% of your donation directly benefits Wilmington residents.

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is set-up as a “drive-up" so that food is custom packed while Wilmington residents wait in their car.  Individuals are given a list of food items in which to choose their food preferences. This list will then guide the volunteers to custom pack the food that is available at that time, while accommodating family size allocations. Recipients picking up food do not need to get out of their vehicle and a volunteer will place your packaged bags of food in your vehicle. We ask that families please arrive with space in their trunk for us to load up the food.

We are open on the 2nd and the 4th Wednesday of each month from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.  See how to Register for Food Assistance.

Food Pantry Donations

Consider making monetary donations to support the Food Pantry.  These donations allow us to purchase bulk items as the need arises. Checks can be made payable to the Wilmington Community Fund and mailed to PO Box 147, Wilmington, MA 01887.  In the memo line note Food Pantry.

As always food items can be dropped in our bins at Market Basket and McKinnon's Supermarket, or at the Food Pantry on Saturday between 10 AM - 12 PM.  See our list of non-perishable items we are most in need of. Thank you for your support!
