Annual Events
Members
- Provide direct relief to Wilmington residents facing financial hardship.
- Provide financial assistance with heat, electricity and utilities payments. Based on need and current economic factors.
- Provide supplemental non-perishable food on a bimonthly basis to those in need.
Our Services
- The Food Pantry | We are helping to solve food-insecurity for many families are our pantry. We supply food on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month (except in November and December when the times and days for distribution varies). Hours of operation are from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
- Emergency Relief Assistance | Assistance with heat, electricity and utilities. Based on need and current economic factors. NOTE: we do not assist with rents or mortgages.
- Holidays | Annual effort to coordinate the generosity of community groups and individuals to ensure Wilmington children and their families can celebrate the holidays.
- Scholarship Program | Award annual scholarships to deserving high school students who demonstrate outstanding commitment to community service.
Community Support Services
- House number safety campaign, Shredding Day at Town Common, purchased AED (defibrillator) devices for all schools; rescue equipment for fire department; technology updates for library; and carbon monoxide devices for residents.

- Shredding Day for Wilmington residents (September).
- Pewter Ornaments - sold at the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Festival of Trees (1st Saturday in December).
